Udyog Aadhar ~ MSME ~ SSI Registration

Udyog Aadhar (also called as Aadhar for business) is highly advisable for sole proprietors who don’t have an official government recognition as it helps a sole proprietor to get a unique identity and official recognition.

Other types of business entities have an official recognition but they can register for Udyog Aadhar to avail the other benefits such as:

  1. Protection against delay in payment.
  2. Fast resolution of disputes.
  3. Collateral free loans from bank.
  4. Waiver of stamp duty and registration fees.
  5. Barcode and registration subsidy.
  6. 50% subsidy for Patent registration.
  7. 50% subsidy for Trademark registration.
  8. Reduce rate of interest from bank.
  9. Subsidy on NSIC.
  10. Counter guarantee from GOI through CGST.
  11. Concession in electricity bills.
  12. 1 % concession in interest on bank OD.
  13. Eligible for IPS subsidy.
  14. Preference in allocation of government tenders.These are only a few of the benefits under Udyog Aadhar. Apart from these the government has introduced a new scheme which can be enjoyed by Udyog Aadhar holder.
  15. Counter guarantee from GOI through CGST.

The Micro Small and Medium Enterprises Development Act 2006 makes it compulsory for MSME to register themselves with the government and to obtain UdyogAadhar and to avail benefits.

Under MSME all types of enterprises can register, manufacturer as well as service provider.
